FAQ's for Singles Ball
Who can come?
Anyone who is single, Hindu-Gujarati, aged between 23-38 years on the date of the event
is welcome. “Single” includes people who are legally divorced or widowed.
Can I bring a friend for support?
If your friend is single and looking for that special someone then yes. We have limited
seating, so tickets are purely for those people who are serious about finding a partner.
What about parking?
There is limited parking at the venue and is strictly on a first come first served basis. There
are other car parks close by.
What refreshments will be available?
There will be an Indian 3 course meal with a choice of vegetarian and non vegetarian
dishes. Whilst every care is taken in preparation some dishes may contain nuts.
Can I bring my own food or drink?
No. Alcohol and food from outside is strictly prohibited. There is a fully licensed bar at the
venue.
What should I wear?
The dress code for this event is smart formal. That means either traditional Indian attire or
evening wear for girls and smart formal evening wear for boys. Jeans, hats, trainers,
hoodies and casual wear is NOT acceptable.
I bought a ticket, but now I can't come. Can I get a refund?
All tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. Please see our full terms and

My friend is just outside the age range, can they come?
The age range is there to give people a fair idea of what to expect. Therefore it would be
unfair to let people outside of the age range attend.
I lost my tickets, what do I do?
Your tickets are your responsibility. Any lost tickets cannot be replaced and a full charge
will be made for a new one.
Why do I have to provide you with information on each person when booking multiple tickets?
The primary reason for collecting this information is for security and safety. We want to
make sure that we only sell tickets to people who meet our criteria. We also need contact
information in case of any changes.
Your data will not be used for any other purpose than to inform you of other Singles Events
organised by GAKM and will not be sold or shared with any third party.
Do I have to pay online?
For speed and ease of process we prefer that you purchase you tickets online. We have
secure payment system with google which should offer you peace of mind.
If for any reason you prefer not to you can pay by cheque or postal order made payable to
“G.A.K.M UK” along with a fully completed application form
